Dermatology Nurse
We are currently looking for an experienced Dermatology Nurse to join a modern dermatology and medical aesthetics environment in Athens, Greece. This full-time opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in dermatology, aesthetic treatments and laser procedures who enjoy combining hands-on patient care with high standards of clinical service.
Role Overview
As a Dermatology Nurse, you will support patients and physicians throughout dermatological examinations, treatments and minor medical procedures. You will help prepare patients for examinations and treatments, assist physicians during clinical procedures, support wound care and prescribed treatments, and ensure that medical equipment and treatment areas are prepared according to appropriate hygiene and safety standards. The position also involves working with aesthetic and laser treatments, making previous experience in a dermatology or medical aesthetics environment particularly important.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and prepare patients before examinations and treatments
- Take and record relevant medical history and basic vital signs
- Assist physicians during dermatological examinations, biopsies and minor procedures
- Provide wound care according to medical instructions
- Administer injectable treatments and medication when instructed by a physician and within the applicable professional scope
- Prepare, sterilise and manage medical equipment and consumable supplies
- Ensure hygiene and safety protocols are followed correctly
- Provide patients with appropriate support and guidance before and after medical procedures
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the dermatology treatment environment
- Maintain a professional, patient-focused approach throughout all interactions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience in a similar position
- Degree from a university or vocational institution in Aesthetics & Cosmetology, with EOPPEP certification where required
- Excellent experience using Alexandrite laser technology
- Previous experience with facial and body treatments
- Good command of English
- Good computer skills
- Strong patient and customer-focused approach
- Professional attitude and collaborative mindset
- Ability to work effectively within a clinical team
