Housekeeper Role
We are currently hiring experienced Housekeepers for a well-established hospitality environment in Athens, Greece. Role Overview
As a Housekeeper, you will support the daily housekeeping operations by preparing guest rooms, maintaining cleanliness standards, and assisting with guest requests. You will work closely with the housekeeping leadership team and follow hotel procedures to ensure rooms and public areas meet the expected service and quality standards. This on-site role is suitable for candidates who are reliable, organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare guest rooms for arrival and stay according to hotel standards
- Support excellent guest service by responding to guest needs and requests professionally
- Follow housekeeping procedures, hygiene standards, and internal policies
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and presentation of assigned areas
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items when identified
- Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations
- Organise tasks efficiently and complete assigned duties within the required timeframe
- Maintain a professional and respectful attitude with guests and team members
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar housekeeping role within the hospitality sector
- Previous experience in an international or luxury hotel environment will be considered an advantage
- Excellent command of Greek
- Good command of English, preferably certified at Lower level or equivalent
- Strong organisational and coordination skills
- Good problem-solving ability and a positive, can-do attitude
- Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- EU nationality or legal residence in Greece
